Francesca is trained in Sports Massage, Be Activated Techniques, Abdominal Massage, Pregnancy and Post Natal Massage. Francesca combines her knowledge of human movement, Douglas Heel’s Be Activated techniques , massage, stretches and breathing to create a bespoke signature treatment for her clients.

What to expect from a session:
– Treatments are 75 minutes.
– Assessing muscle firing patterns and detecting faulty muscle firing patterns
– Diaphragm Release and activation
– Resetting faulty muscle firing patterns and unlocking ‘cheat patterns’ that cause us to implode physically and mentally
– Deep healing & Relaxation to end to really allow your nervous system to drop down and facilitate it’s own healing and restoration
– Specific Self Activation techniques taught to correct your faulty movement patterns
– Stretches and/ or zone exercises taught and emailed to you (if necessary)
Be Activated Techniques
Our body’s ability to overcome the stresses and pressures of life can result in the body breaking down, muscles becoming lazy and creating ‘cheat patterns’ resulting in loss of strength, power, flexibility, endurance and resilience in both the way we move and behave. At best, the result is a loss of energy, at worst constant chronic pain, reduced function, stress, anxiety and tension. Be Activated is a powerful technique that reawakens these muscles, changing quickly from a state of tension and pain, to a state of ease of movement, facilitating the body to make immediate shifts towards resilience, strength and speed. The body and brain can then integrate at the patterns reset. The results can be incredible and instant. The simple treatment exercises can then be taught specifically for you to do at home so they can continue the effect through Self Activation Techniques.
Be Activated for Stress and Anxiety
As well as treating injuries and enhancing sporting performance, it’s a powerful tool for stress management. Anxiety and tension are deeply embedded in our postural muscles and tissues as we run around in ‘survival mode’ and forget how to breathe properly. The Be Activated technique can help unlock stress and anxiety often held in the diaphragm and psoas. It teaches you to breathe better allowing you to drop back into your parasympathetic nervous system where deep restoration and healing can take place. An incredible amount of anxiety and tension is often held in the gut, where the ‘second brain’ resides. Francesca often combines her skills of abdominal massage with Be Activated techniques to release anxiety and restore a sense of calm.
